Musician Information: Guerrilla X - born in Manhattan, New York to his Brooklyn based parents Ismael and Angelita. This Nuyorican who's multi-talents have landed him roles as an extra in the movie, 'Rocky Balboa'(2006) as a ringside Las Vegas security police officer, a bar patron in an independent film, 'Imitations Of Life'(2006) and some production work on the set of Love Boat's actor turned director Ted Lange's 'For Love Of Amy"(2007) TV movie. After his brief encounters with several arrests in his past before turning his attention to music and acting, Guerrilla X was a Golden Gloves boxer in the early 90's, an Olympic Style Weightlifting Champion for 2 years (98-99) and middle weight bodybuilder. He gave all his athletics up for something more challenging and join the U.S. Army in 2000. After what became a near close encounter with death in which an ambush left him temporarily paralyzed. This life threatening event has changed his path drastically and it wouldn't be long before he would pick up the mic and rewrite his own history. Guerrilla X has been approached by many credible opportunist who seek to recruit but fail to invest in the artist's future. After cutting ties with failed management, Guerrilla X has since only managed himself. With the help of his recent promoter Tazmik One, together they have made alot of progress in such a short time of their recent meeting just this past April, 2009. After performing live before a live audience of 600 plus people at The Omaha Midwest Music Awards (Wut It Do Ent.)in Nov, 2007; at The Cinco De Mayo Music Festival in South Omaha, Nebraska with OTR Familia before a live audience of 300 plus on May, 2009 and then with his recent collaboration with cuban major recording artist Pitbull aka Mr. 305 out of Miami, in which they performed live at The Chez Paree before a live audience of 800 plus. Guerrilla X has been blessed with his supporting crew of longtime friend and backup vocalists Dewaun Davis, and rapper 16 Barz along with his personal studio engineer Jeremy Garrett (former assistant engineer to DMX, Erika Badu & Posh Spice). Guerrilla X has been busy secretly recording a 5 album launch that has left him with an enormous amount of unreleased quality tracks made to fit any era. His biggest and latest accomplishments have come with 2 major collaborations with Pitbull & Chino XL. After what seem to be a long year beef with Chino XL in 2008, the launch of Guerrilla X's music video, 'Demolition' drew a lot of attention just within a few days of airing on youtube.com and myspacetv.com the video was dropped to settle on a deal that would help bring the two Latin powerhouses together on 2 tracks that have yet to be released. On Sept. 8th of this year, Chino XL will release his album entitled, 'The RICANstruction' which features Guerrilla X on an upcoming hit song entitled, Latino's Stand Up (The Remix). As for the second track they collaborated on much earlier entitled,'Krazy' will feature Chino XL at his best on another unreleased hit song which will appear on Guerrilla X's first major debut album in late 2010. The album is said to be his first in a double cd/dvd version. Guerrilla X is rapidly making a name for himself and is rumored to surprisingly appear in the upcoming OEA Music Awards in Omaha, Nebraska and is also due to appear on Hot Power 106.9 later this month in August on Sunday Night Raw with radio host & UFC fighter Houston Alexander and label mate Latin Threat. Things are beginning to look up for this unsigned hype artist who has yet to find a record label to call home and wit all the right moves with his recent deal for sponsorships with SoBe Entertainment and Pepsi-Cola there's no way he can lose out on investments. Guerrilla X is said to only be a revolutionary artist with limited possibilities but his music brings a whole new meaning to revolution to his own account is very much revolutionizing a new sound. Guerrilla X has made his primary focus and objective to attract legitimate investors and business opportunist to help meet with his profiting ideas and goals as an artist and a business man. Guerrilla X seeks to invest in what is fair and necessary for himself and his establishment. Guerrilla X's goal to overcome and achieve the unthinkable is challenging and he vows to achieve those goals as well as achieving the ultimate prize in the world of hip-hop as a true peoples champion.
